Q: Please describe the Lost Cities for those who are new to this world. So the more truths Sophie unearths, the more she risks upsetting that delicate balance and then has to decide whether or not to share what she learns or hide it for the same reasons. Even the “good guys” hide certain details, either to protect people or to avoid causing mass panic. Q: Why can truth be a dangerous discovery, and what new responsibilities does Sophie encounter?Ī: Sophie lives in a world with a lot of secrets. And that’s of course one of the challenges she faces in “Legacy.” But on a broader scale, she’s also struggling to keep focused on the huge issues affecting her world while dealing with personal worries that keep distracting her.
